Heyer Medical AG (Bad Ems, Germany) is exhibiting its latest state-of-the-art ventilators, anesthesia workstations and surgical lights at the 2022 edition of MEDICA, the world's largest trade fair for medical technology, being held from 14 to 17 November in Düsseldorf, Germany. MEDICA provides the medical device industry with a central market for innovative products and systems that result in an important contribution to the efficiency and quality of patient care.

At MEDICA 2022, Heyer is highlighting the VG55 non-invasive ventilator which use advanced turbine technology to provide non-invasive ventilation with ICU grade monitoring. The VG55 features a 15.6-inch capacitive touchscreen which is incredibly ergonomic and can be rotated 90 degrees upwards and downwards, as well as 90 degrees left and right. The VG55 offers four ventilation modes - CPAP, S/T, T and VGP – and delivers high flow oxygen in HFT mode at an adjustable flow rate from 2 to 60 L/min to improve gas both gas exchange and create a reduction in work of breathing.

Heyer is also showcasing the PORT+ emergency transport ventilator that has been used throughout the globe. PORT+ is ideal for many other applications such as on-site emergency treatment, pre-hospital transport, inter-hospital transport, as well as intra-hospital transport. Whether the patient is an adult, child, or infant, PORT+ serves as a reliable life-supporting mechanism. Alongside the PORT+, Heyer is exhibiting the Aeonmed NeoBip Device non-invasive ventilator that is intended for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea in adults or for patients with pulmonary insufficiency that need respiratory support.

In addition, Heyer is presenting the Aeonmed 8800A anesthesia workstation that offers offering comprehensive and accurate respiratory care for all patient types, alongside the Aeonmed 8700A Anesthesia Assistant which is an anesthesia workstation with comprehensive functions covering a wide range of patient types. Also on display is the Aeonmed 8300A Anesthesia Machine with an improved appearance, structure and operating system that displays more clinical monitoring parameters such as continuous trend information and spirometry loops, in addition to routine patient data and waveforms. Heyer is also highlighting the new Pasithec anesthesia system that comes with a full range of functions and is easy to operate, alongside the Aeonmed OL9600 surgical light that is suitable for surgery illumination at hospitals and surgery centers.
