Huntleigh Healthcare Ltd. (Wales, UK), a member of the Arjo family, is showcasing its innovative solutions in vascular care, fetal and patient monitoring at the 2022 edition of MEDICA, the world's largest trade fair for medical technology, being held from 14 to 17 November in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Huntleigh is exhibiting a range of patient monitoring devices at MEDICA 2022, including the Smartsigns Compact 500 vital signs monitor, the Smartsigns Compact 1500 patient monitor, and the Smartsigns Compact 1200 patient monitor. The Smartsigns Compact 500 vital signs monitor supports clinical decision making in any environment and maximizes productivity at the touch of a button by allowing users to select either a numerical SPOT display or traditional WAVEFORM display. Providing caregivers with a flexible platform, the SC500 base configuration provides users with a standard set of monitoring capabilities for BP, pulse rate and oxygen saturation, while providing various monitoring options for areas where additional vital signs need to be monitored. The Smartsigns Compact 1500 patient monitor featuring a 15-inch crystal clear display is ideal for users who prefer to display the patient status in the traditional format or as a series of large numbers, as it allows changing from one format to another through a single key press operation. The Smartsigns Compact 1200 patient monitor featuring a 12-inch crystal clear display has also been developed to provide caregivers with accurate, dependable measurements in a variety of different formats. Individual profiles can be developed for each patient groups matching the monitor’s capability with the clinical specialty and environment.

At MEDICA 2022, Huntleigh is also presenting its WoundExpress advanced wound therapy device that is clinically proven to assist in the healing of acute venous leg ulcers, or “hard to heal wounds.” Therapy is delivered via a pump and garment, which operates by using low pressure air to deliver a compression therapy, sometimes referred to as intermittent pneumatic compression therapy.
