RXVIP Enterprises (RXVIP; Westbury, NY, USA) has joined forces with RxNT (Annapolis, MD, USA) to provide RXVIP Concierge pharmacists and their physician-customers with the ability to improve all aspects of chronic care coordination at the point of care.

RXVIP Concierge pharmacists currently work with physicians in their offices to provide a suite of services that include patient counseling on medications, chronic care management, assistance for office staff in managing prior authorizations, and insurance issues with prescriptions. Following the agreement, RxNT, a leader in the development of healthcare IT products, will provide RXVIP Concierge pharmacists with a full-suite of cloud-based solutions that will assist physicians in their office in managing all aspects of the practice including scheduling, patient charting, writing prescriptions, and billing their insurance.

RxNT will also provide RXVIP Concierge pharmacists with a proprietary electronic prescribing of controlled substances (EPCS) solution that will enable physician providers to send controlled substances prescriptions electronically from the point of patient care. RxNT will offer the bundled services as a per license/per year package deal at a flat, low rate, and will also offer ongoing training and support at no additional cost and with no ongoing maintenance fees.

“When we launched the RXVIP Concierge model in 2015, we recognized that we needed a technology partner to enhance the flow of our services,” said Ken Sternfeld, RPh, director of new business development of RXVIP Concierge. “Coupled with unlimited training and support at no additional cost, RxNT delivered their products to us seamlessly, allowing us to improve our role as Pharmacists in the health care continuum.”

“Working with RXVIP provides RxNT a great opportunity to achieve its goal of making it easier for providers to adopt quality healthcare solutions at an affordable price,” said Tom Collinson, executive vice president of business development at RxNT. “We are excited to be working with RXVIP to bring even more value to providers.”
