The Medical Fair India 2013 (New Delhi, India) international exhibition and conference on diagnostic, medical technology, rehabilitation, and medical equipment and components will once again exceed previous year figures.

Medical Fair India 2013, with over 300 exhibitors, is one of the largest industry international events on the Indian sub-continent. More...
Held annually—alternating between Mumbai and New Delhi—the trade fair offers visitors a platform for a comprehensive overview of international innovations in medical technology and services. The focus is on medical technology, hospital, health center, and clinic equipment and products as well as rehabilitation, laboratory, and analytical equipment. The product portfolio is geared towards the needs of Indian hospitals, clinics, and health centers.

Both exhibitor and visitor profiles reflect the specific conditions of the Indian health market, which simplifies market entry for international companies. In addition to a strong Indian participation, numerous country group exhibits from China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, and Taiwan, Austria, Canada, Hungary, Pakistan, Thailand, Turkey, and Singapore are also expected. A highlight will be the US Pavilion (with 13 companies to date), which is being organized by Messe Düsseldorf North America (MDNA; Chicago, IL, USA).

Medical Fair India 2013 is being held in close cooperation with the MEDICA trade fair, held annually in Düsseldorf (Germany), promoting dialogue with important decision-makers in the Indian market. Another important factor is India’s excellent economic status; next to China, India is the fastest growing country of the Brazil, Russia, India, and China (BRIC) states. The Indian health sector is among the fastest emerging service sectors and already accounts for 6% of the gross national product (GNP).The sector is expected to become a USD 280 billion industry by 2020, with spending on health estimated to grow 14% annually; at present the sector is estimated to be around USD 78.6 billion.

Medical Fair India 2013 will take place at the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Center (New Delhi, India) during March 8-10, 2013.
