(Waltham, MA, USA), has acquired Viva Diagnostika (Cologne, Germany).

Viva Diagnostika is a distributor of professional diagnostic products in Germany and has established a distribution network for its existing diagnostic products, including the product lines acquired from Abbott Laboratories (Abbot Park, IL, USA) in 2003, as well as it own range of cardiac products in development.

Inverness Medical Innovations is a developer of advanced diagnostic devices with a focus on women's health, cardiology, and infectious disease.
