GE Healthcare Showcases New Product Introductions

GE Healthcare (Chicago, IL, USA) showcased some of its latest innovations in the field of MR, CT, ultrasound, X-ray, mammography, surgical imaging, and healthcare digital products & solutions at Arab Health 2018, the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East.

GE’s MR systems on display at the exhibition included the new SIGNA Premier ultra-premium 3.0T MR system that combines powerful SuperG gradient technology and a 146-channel Total Digital Imaging (TDI) RF chain into a true 70 cm wide bore; and the SIGNA Architect 3.0T system, a state-of-the-art imaging solution that combines advancements in MR technology with the company’s intuitive engineering. GE also showcased its CT systems portfolio, including the Revolution system featuring GSI Xtream volume spectral CT technology; the Revolution EVO system designed to support the widest variety of patients and applications; the affordable and easy to operate Revolution ACT system; and the Revolution Frontier system built from the technology innovations only available on GE’s Revolution platform.

Among GE’s X-ray systems on display at the event were Optima XR240amx which is designed to be the highest resolution pediatric capable mobile X-ray system in the industry; the Optima XR646 HD versatile digital radiographic system featuring the ground breaking FlashPad HD detector technology; the Discovery RF 180 One-for-All system to perform radiography, fluoroscopy and advanced applications on all patients in one room; and the Discovery XR656 HD which is the company’s most advanced digital radiographic system featuring Helix advanced image processing.

GE’s mammography portfolio on display at Arab Health 2018 included Invenia ABUS, the only FDA-approved ultrasound technology designed specifically for breast cancer screening; the Senographe Pristina 3D mammography system; and the Pristina Dueta, SenoBright HD and Senographe Crystal Nova breast imaging systems. GE also showcased its surgical imaging portfolio at the event, including the highly flexible and remarkably versatile Discovery IGS 7 OR; the company’s first mini C-arm, the OEC Elite MiniView; the OEC Elite CFD portfolio of premium mobile C-arms; and the OEC One all-in-one C-arm.

GE’s ultrasound systems on display at Arab Health 2018 included the portable LOGIQ S8 XDclear 2.0 for a wide range of clinical applications; the LOGIQ E9 XDclear 2.0 that provides extraordinary images & exceptional clinical versatility to handle a wide range of exams; the Voluson E10 that delivers a new standard in OB/GYN imaging; the Versana Essential and Venue ultrasound systems; and the VividTM E95 premium 4D cardiovascular ultrasound system.

The healthcare digital products and solutions showcased by GE at the event were the Centricity 360 Suite vendor-neutral, medical image and document exchange solution; the Centricity Cardiology Enterprise that helps cardiologists and cardiovascular staff to enhance patient care; Centricity Clinical Archive Analytics; Advanced Visualization (AW) which streamlines post-processing; and the Centricity Universal Viewer web-based PACS, enterprise and zero footprint diagnostic viewer with intelligent productivity tools.
