Mediplus Launches IV Drug Delivery System at Arab Health Show

UK medical devices manufacturer Mediplus Ltd. launched a pioneering IV administration set at Arab Health 2017 that allows clinicians to access a variety of pumps and deliver fluids in a safe manner.

Mediplus develops, manufactures and markets patient centric products for the healthcare sector that focus on two key clinical areas - pelvic floor, which includes urology, urogynecology, gynecology, gastroenterology, and critical care which covers anesthetics and general surgery sectors.

At the four-day event held from January 30 to February 2, 2017, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Mediplus launched the new Argentum, a dedicated infusion delivery set designed to facilitate the administration of intravenous medicines in one complete system. The system offers convenience to the end user while maintaining safe, cost effective drug delivery standards. The IV administration set has been developed to facilitate the administration intravenous drugs within general surgery, obstetrics, coronary care, intensive and critical care and recovery. Additionally, Mediplus also showcased its extensive portfolio, which included a range of Gold Standard TIVA (Total Intravenous Anesthesia) solutions.
