"We are thrilled to present these awards to Philips for its thoughtful contributions to the medical industry,” said Manoj Kenkara, director of the Healthcare Research group at Frost & Sullivan. "For instance, by taking care to design its HeartStart home defibrillator specifically for the home and making it easy and safe to use, Philips has given laypeople the ability to assist sudden cardiac arrest victims within the critical first few minutes, to help improve survival.”
