The GCare Lipid is intended for the quantitative determination of lipids (Total cholesterol, Triglycerides, HDL cholesterol, LDL-Calculation) and glucose in human blood. The test strips (GCare Lipid Profile and GCare Glucose) are for self-testing outside the body (in vitro diagnostic use). It should be used only for testing total cholesterol, triglyceride, HDL cholesterol and glucose with fresh capillary finger blood samples and venous whole blood collected in EDTA or heparin tubes. A portable printer prints out the results immediately.
