The Geni-Tec Intelligent Battery System is the perfect portable power solution for your medical device. The aesthetically designed battery integrates seamlessly with Bytec’s range of medical carts, and can also be used as a standalone power system with other medical devices throughout hospitals and healthcare environments.

The Geni-Tec System is easy to operate and is ideal for use in medical environments where a reliable power supply is crucial, including operating theatres, hospital wards, ICU and neonatal units. Geni-Tec can be used to supplement existing battery power for medical equipment, provide uninterrupted power supply, or as portable battery power for computer carts, roll stands and other mobile medical devices.

Geni-Tec, battery packs can be charged in situ whilst on a workstation dock via a DC mains adapter. The battery can recharge without removing it from your medical device or cart, so you can get on with important tasks. For remote charging, each battery can be easily detached and charged either using a single, 2-Bay or 4-Bay Charger.

A networked battery management system allows for asset management and performance monitoring of the batteries in service, and provides performance logging, so you can keep track of how and where your batteries are being used.

As with all Bytec produdcts, Geni-Tec is designed to comply with strict healthcare cleanliness standards. The smooth profile and minimal dirt traps make each unit incredibly easy to clean. The battery unit is waterproof and sealed to IP66, providing protection against powerful water jets and complete protection against dust. There are no “live” terminals whilst disconnected, so the battery can be safely cleaned under running water.
