The Elekta Infinity digital linear accelerator delivers Volumetric Intensity Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), which enables clinicians to “shrink wrap” the dose around a tumor by simultaneously manipulating the gantry position and speed, MLC leaves, dose rate and even collimator angle. It also features VolumeView 3D cone beam imaging to create high-contrast images with ultra-low dose and visualize targets with the patient in the treatment position minutes before therapy.
