Description
QuikClot Control+ is the first hemostatic dressing indicated for temporary control of internal organ space bleeding for patients displaying severe bleeding (class III or class IV bleeding). QuikClot Control+ 5 x 5 is a proprietary hemostatic technology, specially formulated for severe internal bleeding, consisting of a nonwoven material impregnated with kaolin, an inorganic mineral that activates factor XII,1 which in turn accelerates the body’s natural clotting ability.
