Description
The Isotherm heating lamp is specially designed for the warming of infant diaper changing tables and maintaining a baby’s body temperature. Equipped with a ceramic heating element and an integrated halogen examination lamp, it allows the heating power to be set as desired according to ambient and infant body temperature.
Features
• Lamp with a long-lasting heating element: The specially manufactured ceramic heating element does not scale, does not accumulate burn-off and is not sensitive to splashed fluids
• In contrast to conventional heating elements, surface temperature has been reduced by half so that room temperature is only moderately affected
• An optimal spectral selection, surface design and insulation technology converts 85% of the absorbed energy into effective infrared radiation
• The Isotherm concept is the first to implement controlled dosage of power used to set the intensity of the radiation to which the patient is exposed
• The controlled power dosage is decisive for keeping patients safely and effectively warm. Instead of the “more or less” approach, the Isotherm concept allows for customized power dosage based on a patient’s individual needs, and for taking readings of heat radiation actually applied to a patient
• Isotherm automatically reduces radiation intensity to a safe level if a patient is exposed to higher radiation intensity levels over a longer period of time
• Nursing staff is made aware of the situation via the optical display and an acoustic signal
• Alarms sound in case of a mains power failure
• Good heat distribution: The heating lamp distributes heat evenly across the lying surface
• No visible infrared light is projected which might affect the optical appearance of a patient’s skin color
• A fluorescent lamp has been integrated to illuminate the lying surface without producing intense glare
• LED examination lamp
